Fostered Furnishings is a small furniture studio based in Towson, Maryland.

Fostered Furnishings main goal is to help you turn your dated or unstylish furniture into one-of-a-kind pieces that feel uniquely you. By adding paint, fabric, and a new perspective, we can give your pieces a new feel, life, and story. We offer custom built items as well.

Fostered Furnishings was born from our owner Katie’s hobby of painting furniture while she and her husband raised their family of biological, adopted, and fostered children. To foster means to encourage and give confidence. That same spirit of fostering is present in our work. We go by Fostered Studio in our client friendly location in the Ruxton Station.

In addition to refurbishing, we offer a variety of fabric by the yard and wall coverings as well. We do have some local retailers who have available, ready to purchase items from our collections. Email us directly to find out where to shop our items.
